3rd trimester challenge

The past 3.5 days were very challenging for me and my baby. My baby was 32.2 days when my OB discovered that my amniotic fluid was in the borderline level. She immediately ordered us to be admitted and be hydrated. By then on round the clock monitoring and tests were given to us. After having 3 bags of IV and 4 dosages of steroids for my baby,my amniotic fluid level did not change. Again several test and closer monitoring were performed. After doing so on the 3rd day, my OB and resident doctors decided to disharge us with several conditions:
- complete bed rest
- take 3liters of water everyday
- bp monitoring
- baby kick counting
- twice a week fetal test
- once a week ultrasound

With those, we have to go back to the hospital 3x a week and do nothing at home except to laydown and pee.

My Ob said that we have to wait for 4weeks so i can deliver my baby in good condition.. We have to avoid anything that will cause stress for me and my baby to avoid contraction that lead to pre term delivery.

i would like to thank everyone who visited, called, texted, sent private messages, tweeted, commemted and prayed for us. I will be cancelling the baby shower event for now but nonetheless you have given us much, u showered us, my family more than any material gift… Your love, support and prayers… Thank you so much from the bottom our hearts!

And above all to our Lord our God who guided all tbe doctors to take care of my baby!

Amazing things just happened (18 weeks)

They say having a child inside you is an amazing thing.. Well, they are all right!

As my child Gabriel grows up on my tummy he make me feel good and everyday i’m excited on his new tricks (kicks and tumblings) i just can’t explain..

Everyday of this week I can feel a tiny kick (pitik) and it made me smile… and last Thursday (feb3) i was in the elevator when i suddenly felt a butterfly like movement in my tummy.. I could not say any word, i just want to feel the moment and my whole system was at joy. When i reached the ground, i called Alvin up to share the news and then i announced to the whole world that my Gabriel has just turned upside down! It’s just the mid of my pregnancy and i know there are lot more things to happen and share. All i know is i want to take it every minute, every hour and day by day as the time comes that i have to deliver and show him to the world!

And now as i write this entry, i just felt small kicks , maybe he’s saying.. . “I knew it mom you are writing about me…” (tears)

It has been 4 and a half months with my precious one on my tummy and something special are happening.. i could not explain but some things has just changed in my inner soul. all that baby bump and fats are just physical but the thing i’m referring is a twist on how i view life, really different from the 29years of existence.

I celebrated my birthday this year but it was extra ordinary, alot more special than my 7th, 18th and 25th birthdays. Life is full of meaning now. Honestly, i have feared more things and i question myself on how we are going to live our lives. On the contrary, i know it will be more exciting and challenging because we have someone worth living for…

Today is first day of work for 2011. Vacation is over but i woke at 9am, so late than usual for work, still having hang over with more sleeps during the holidays. We spent our new year dinner at nalyn and chistian’s new apartment. It was fun as always to be with my girlfriends. we went home around 2am with big smiles.

our baby Gabriel is 14weeks old now… got baby bump now. i’m getting more excited to see my tummy grow as Gabriel does. my next check up will be this saturday… but i have been checking my baby’s heartbeat from a fetal doppler set that i bought three weeks ago… it lessen my anxiety and Alvin and i enjoy hearing his heartbeat. Amazing!

It’s the last day of work before Christmas! Been thinking what to prepare for noche buena tomorrow. Maybe i’ll go for pasta and chicken..

Gabriel is now 12weeks and 4days. just 3 days away to end the first trimester. Last Monday we heard baby Gabriel’s heartbeat. I bought a fetal doppler home set that i can use everytime we waned to check on our baby on my womb. Yesterday i bought dresses because i don’t feel comfortable wearing shorts and pants anymore.. My tummy ‘s getting bigger and we are getting more excited

11th week!

Today is its my baby’s 11th week and 3days in my womb! felt bad last night after i blew-up but the good thing i was able to sleep early..

Everyday is a different experience for me and my baby, its really a wonderful feeling to have him/her inside me..

Alvin and i both want to have a baby boy. But as we pray,regardless of the gender, we pray for a healthy baby and for me to have a safe pregnancy throughout the nine months.

I got a new OB in Medical city, the hospital across where i work. I wanted to make sure that i got the best opinion coming from 2 different doctors.
Still thinking where to deliver, have 28-29 weeks anyway to think about it.

Last Saturday , on my 10weeks and 6th day of pregnancy when we first heard his/her heartbeat on a fetal Doppler, i was relieved when i heard it and its for real!

For now, I’m enjoying every moment to have my baby inside me, to take care of him/her is a really a blessing.

I’am pregnant!!!

It was last October 30 when we first knew that i was pregnant. 2 days after our 4th year anniversary as bf and gf.

Alvin didn’t knew that i had my pregnancy test that morning. I wanted it to be a big surprise. It turned out well, we were both teary eyed. Finally after a year when we i had my first pregnancy, God bless us with another baby. We had a mutual mind that this time we should not lose this chance and we will do everything to take care of our baby and me during my pregnancy. By then on, Alvin just want to me to take a lot a rest, sleep and eat healthy.

It was ate lala who first knew that i’m pregnant (she’s also the one who first knew that Alvin and i are having a relationship, 4 years ago), then my family. We both decided to not tell everyone first about my pregnancy, we wanted to stabilize my baby first and only tell the news to those who needs to know my situation.

That same day, we went to my OB for a checkup. She gave me follic acid, OB smart for my multi-vitamins and milk. We were both really happy but at the back of my mind anxiety is present. The fear of having a baby again and the possibility that i might fail again. But i knew, God is with us and i have take care of myself this time for my baby, Alvin is also supporting us 101% for my healthy baby and pregnancy.

i dont want to get emotional and all the goodbye dramas cause this is not really a goodbye after all. oh no not a single tear please.. I should get used on this because its the fourth time.

yes, you will be missed, for sure this will be a really big adjustment for all of us.. you may not know bu you are my best buddy i have when ate thin, nanay and tatay left. and i have nobody to yell at anymore. for sure you miss that.. hahaha!

be a good big lady in there, USA is a free country as you are. continue spreading your wings and be the best you can… I hope you will find a new job that you will enjoy, i know there’s no better than Maninsur. hahahah!

Now that all of you 4 are there, i know you will all miss me… definitely.
BTW, you can cry, its ok to cry if you feel to, parting ways is not easy personally. It’s hard to deny.

Stay strong and be responsible, you can do it. The 3 of them are there to guide you so i guess nothing to worry that much. Just listen and be the way you are.

Adjustments

i would not say that it was a long time since i wote my last blog, obviously that was ages ago. hehe..

i’m on my second week for my new work now, new office, new place , new laptop, new industry (airline), new people and its my first time to work here in Ortigas and in an international company. my new ofc is quite big , im still on my ADJUSTMENTS stage.

met with Nalyn and Flor last weekend, its always fun to be with them though we have alot of dramas in our lives. Cj is leaving two weeks from now going to States. I’m the only bobis left here in Pinas

i’m excited for nalyn’s wedding, angels will be physically whole again, hope everyone will be happy again together..

Day4 boracay

Its a wonderful tuesday morning, the sun is up when we woke up at 9 am. We had longsilog, coffee and orange juice for breakfast. We went back to our room to arrange our things for tomorrow’s flight. I fell asleep while alvin is playing on his laptop. It’s almost lunch when i woke up. We ate on an authentic chicken bacolod inasal for lunch. Alvin and i had chicken petso and garlic rice. Afterwards, we had pasalubong shopping and its already 330 when went back to boracay plaza. I felt so tired when i saw the bed. Huaaaaaaw!

Our skin were burned out so we waited for the sunset before we went on swimming. The shore is mabato today but still we enjoyed the water and sand.

We took a bath and prepare for dinner. Since its our last night for this trip we tried something different. we ate at hama japanese restaurant. Alvin had unagi don and i had tempura soba.
On our way back to boracay plaza, we bought sand in a bottle souveneir. Its our last night here in boracay. I could say that this trip is really worth it.
